Allstate Car Insurance Flag Commercial

Before we get to the amusing part of the article, let’s touch a little on how advertisements affect us, as well at the company who is producing them. When we watch television, there are always advertisements which we have to suffer through until our shows come back on. However, some of the commercials are humorous or informative, such as the newer insurance commercials put out by Geico, Allstate, and Progressive. Each of these larger companies have gone through a lot of trouble to create commercials which better connect with their viewers, to inform them of the services they could offer us, as well as keep us entertained. Since there are so many companies who advertise, it’s about which company can do a better job of displaying and informing what they can do for us. Let’s face it, no one wants to buy an insurance policy from someone with lame marketing and doesn’t care enough to try and persuade us, that’s bad business.

In my opinion, out of all the ad campaigns over the last few years, Allstate’s newest campaign is by far the best and most amusing. They’ve created something truly unique, depicting acts of mayhem, with Dean Winters, which may not be covered by other insurers, but informs us that they will. For example, in one commercial Winters is a team flag hanging from a pole in the back of a truck. He’s been with you for fourteen years, but in flag years, that’s like a hundred and thirty. While hanging on by a thread, he lets go and covers up the windshield of another car, causing them to damage their vehicle on side road bumpers. He informs us that if we have cut a cut insurance rate, we could be paying for this ourself, so switch to Allstate, where we’ll save money and be better protected from mayhem like him.
