Add a Touch of Fashion to Your Id Badge

Identification badges are nothing new in the workplace. They typically come with bland accessories, such as a plastic badge holder or a lanyard. Most of the time, employees are required to wear these accessories because they are in need of a way to display their id badge. Unfortunately, the company supplied display options are pretty unfriendly in fashion terms. However, there are some items available that don’t follow this trend.
If you prefer to wear a lanyard, there are actually a couple of different options available to you. Custom printed lanyards allow you to choose the color and design of your display item. By matching it up with your wardrobe, lanyards don’t have to be a fashion downfall. They can actually look quite nice and custom lanyards don’t come with a terribly high cost either.
A step up from the custom designed lanyard is the beaded lanyard. Again, you can find many different colors and designs for this item to match your business attire. A beaded lanyard will give a touch of class that your regular style lanyard can’t offer. If you’re the crafty type, you can also make your own beaded lanyards. Many design patterns can be found online if this is something that peaks your interest.
If lanyards aren’t in your taste, you may want to try a magnetic badge holder. The biggest advantage that a magnetic holder brings is that the parts to the holder cannot be seen by others. This gives a nice professional look while doing away with accessories that draw unnecessary attention. With this type of holder, one magnet is attached to the back of the id badge while the other is placed inside the user’s clothing. When the two magnets come within close range, they will seal together and keep the id badge in place.
All three of these options allow for a more fashion friendly badge display than your typical badge accessories do. For those workers that want to always be looking their best, these accessories offer a solution for looking good while still displaying an id badge.
