A Very Special Couple Figurine

I have found that although it is much easier to give money, sometimes taking the time to pick out a thoughtful present can bring a great feeling of fulfillment to me. I think I came to believe this mostly because of a some very special gifts a friend of mine has given me. Since we were in our early twenties we have purchased collectibles for each other. We both are collectors and it is a way that we can show each other that we have been really listening to each other when we talk or hang out together. My friend recently gave me a beautiful couple figurine that really hit home. I had been having some difficulties and looking at the couple dancing together silently helped me to remember where I had come from so long ago. It might sound funny, but the extra time my friend took to pick out what I actually needed was worth more to me than a gift card for a hundred dollars.
