A Pool Lounge Chair Partially Submerged is a Great Way to Cool off

There’s not much more a relaxing atmosphere than reclining on your pool lounge chair soaking up the suns rays. But what if you want to get in the water but can’t be bothered expending the energy to stay afloat? In this situation a floating pool lounge chair, partially submerged gives you the best of both of worlds. You can relax while tanning and keep cool in the water at the same time. I wouldn’t be reading my Kindle this way though.
Something that is really cool and a great way to socialize in your pool is to get yourself a floating bar. This is a small flotation device which basically holds all of your drinks and mixers and allows them to float around in the pool with you. No more getting out of the water to refill your drink. I, for one, think it’s a great way to spend the day with your mates. Always drink responsibly though as too much alcohol and swimming is not a good combination.
Creating the perfect bistro setting around your pool can be done with more traditional outdoor pub tables and stools and is an excellent way to have a meal at the end the day when it starts to cool down but if you want to work on your tan you are going to need a decent pool lounge chair. Sure, it’s fun to float around in the water but sometimes the weather may be sunny but still just a bit too cool for a dip. When you are choosing your poolside recliner there are just a few things that you need to consider.
Your first priority is probably comfort. Your recliner may or may not come with cushions. The model you choose may be comfortable enough without cushions but it all depends on your taste. Cushions designed for the outdoors can be a little pricey so you’ll want to factor that it into the end price your willing to pay for your poolside chair.
What sort of material is the chair manufactured from? Wood is much more durable and possibly more attractive than plastic. It’s more expensive as well and requires a little bit more care. Newer styles of resin furniture are really getting up there in quality so make sure you put those on your list of possibles. As the chair is going to be around a wet environment and probably chlorine as well you are going to need to take a few measures to make sure your furniture stays in pristine condition, especially if you choose the wooden variety.
Style will probably be a major decision making factor but there is heaps of variety, materials and designs out there so take your time, try them out in the shop or if buying online give the reviews an extensive read. Shopping online can reap huge discounts especially if buying more than one item. You might even be able to score free shipping which can save you a bundle on the end price.
