A Little Squash Lesson

Posted by GuestPoster in Sports and Games

So, you want to learn how to play squash.  Well, it’s not really that hard so let’s get started.  First of all, if you’ve ever played tennis or racquetball your off to a good start.  Also, if you’ve ever played a game called “real Tennis” then your in a good starting place as well.  “Real tennis” looks like a cross between squash and tennis.  With squash you start with one foot in the serving box.  You then hit the ball (no bouncing) towards the front wall, so it lands on the other side of the court in the receiving box.  Your opponent standing the the receiving box, then hits the ball so it hits the front wall before hitting the floor again. You do the same in return.  Keep going until someone fails to return the ball after more than one bounce.  One point for every rally and then you have it.  Wash, rinse and repeat till your body gives up.
