The foundation of their bracelet system is the Pandora bracelet. They are 14k gold or sterling silver snake chains that have threaded dividers on them. Clasps are either a special patented “snap” clasp that resembles a Pandora charm, or a more traditional lobster claw clasp. Snap clasps have the word “Pandora” stamped on them, and lobster claw versions come with a small dangle charm that has the Pandora logo stamped on it. The dividers have threads (ridges) on them so that the charms can be easily twisted over them into each of the three sections on the bracelet. There are also leather bracelets available, but they do not have the dividers.
The charms for a Pandora charm bracelet are actually large beads that can be twisted on and off of the bracelet easily. They twist over the dividers and stay put in whatever section you put them in. Special clips are available that snap over the dividers, further keeping the charms in their place. All charms are made of either 14k gold, sterling silver or genuine Murano glass. The charms are stamped with the Pandora logo or the word “Pandora” to let you know that you have a genuine Pandora charm. There are many shapes to choose from, and many have gemstones embedded in them, also. Sterling silver and Murano glass charms start at about $35 each, and the gold charms start in the mid $200’s. There are even two-tone charms that combine gold and silver together. Those prices start around $100.
