Quads are the ultimate driving machine. They aren’t labeled ATVs for nothing. They truly can drive through any terrain. Whether it be through the desert, the mountains or the snow, this machine will get you there. It accomplishes this task through an intricate balance of power and speed. All of the moving parts in this machine must come together perfectly in order for the quad to run well. One of these systems is known as the exhaust system.
Your vehicle uses an internal combustion type engine. This means that there are thousands of explosions that make your quad move. These explosions aren’t perfect, however, and they have byproducts that must be released to the outside world in order to free up room for the next explosion. the 2011 Polaris RZR exhaust system takes care of just such exhaust. The exhaust system is directly connected to the engine and carefully regulates the flow of the exhaust. Too much back pressure and your engine loses performance. Too free of a system and it also loses performance.
The stock 2011 Polaris RZR exhaust system is suitable for many. It provides decent performance and will keep you on the road. For the people who want the ultimate in their quad, however, this system may just not be enough. It doesn’t give you all of the available horsepower from your engine. Third party manufacturers make exhaust systems that both work better and sound better. That’s right, your exhaust system is also responsible for the sound that your RZR makes. If you want a louder system, then you can easily purchase kits that will accomplish this. Some of the systems will even quiet down your RZR. Which one you buy depends solely on your preference. Louder engines will oftentimes garner a-lot of attention, but some people just get annoyed by them and choose quieter systems. Which you choose is up to you!
